Service Description

Experience the convenience of a virtual initial consultation with Dr. Manik Hiranandani over Zoom. Discuss your concerns, receive professional advice, and explore your treatment options all from the comfort of your own home. Take the first step towards better health with our online consultation. To ensure an accurate diagnosis, please complete the pre-consultation form and provide details of your medical history, medications, and relevant reports and images. Additionally, take a minimum of three iris photos of each eye, following the provided instructions. Take clear photos of each iris (the brown or blue part of your eye) with light shining from both sides. In this video, https://vimeo.com/601001844I, I demonstrate how to capture a high-quality photo of your iris, which you can then send to me for diagnosing the health issues you are experiencing. You will need a torch, camera, or cellphone to take a good-quality photo. You will also need two people to assist you—one to take the picture and one to hold the light. The person holding the light must keep it aligned with your temple, positioned about eight inches in front, and shine it at a 45-degree angle towards the eye. Avoid directing the torch straight into the eye. Otherwise, it will be difficult to keep your eyes open while taking the photographs. While the photo is being taken, you should look directly at the lens, as shown here, and keep your eyes wide open. The person taking the photograph will need to zoom in so that the iris fills the screen, allowing me to see the fibres of your iris. They must also enable the autofocus and auto-exposure functions by touching the screen over the centre of the iris for a few seconds to focus and lock the camera. This will allow you to take clear photographs of each iris. After you take the pictures, please label them as 'left' and 'right'. Capture at least three pictures of each iris with the light shining in three directions. The first person should angle the light at 45 degrees toward the iris, holding the torch 8 inches away from your temple. Avoid shining the light directly into the eye. The other person should take the photo as close as possible, zooming in and focusing on the iris of the eye. • Your eyes must be wide open and stare directly into the camera lens. For higher quality, use the forward-facing camera on your phone, not the selfie camera. Get the personalised medical care you deserve.
